I got a letter in the post this morning about it, the big screen will be situated between the Railway and Main stands, from the picture in the letter, I would say it's about 20 feet wide and 15 feet deep, it fill's the gap nicely, it will show live coverage of the game, it will have a clock, yeh, and allow us to vote for our Man of the match.

I can't see it showing live coverage as that isn't allowed, because people will see referee cock-ups.

This is a terrible decision and a real blow for proper football fans. I'm quite angry at this; if people want entertainment they should go to the bloody circus. How much extra are we forking out for what will be a big billboard flogging whatever overpriced low-quality c*** that lonsdale can knock out?

Actually, I've just realised that the Golds can show some Anne Summers stuff and Sullivan can show some of his 'special interest' videos....

They were hoping that it would be available for the QPR game, but I've now just been told that it is more likely to be sometime in January.

No they're still hopeful it will be in time for that game, but there's no guarantee yet for that exact date. The screen is ready but it just depends on the structural engineers getting the work done to support it.

I would at a guess be concern over the wind . That 'light' breeze that rips around the kop is the reason why i end up going to the football looking like the michlen man

it will have a clock, yeh, and allow us to vote for our Man of the match.

A clock for some fans to see...

1. How much of the game has gone once they bother to turn up after the 1st half kick off.

2. Precisely when to leave for the 20 minute **** in the 1st half.

3. Precisely when to leave before half time to get another ****/beer/pie in

4. to see how much of the game has gone once they bother to turn up after the 2nd half kick off.

5. Precisely when to leave for the 20 minute **** in the 2nd half.

& 6. Precisely when to leave before the end of the match.

Oh and Man of the Match wtf** Let me guess...

to Vote for McSheffrey Text MugSheffrey to 99999 - Text's cost £3000.00 plus your normal network charge.

Stealth Tax's oblivion :crying:

It's becoming blatently obvious that this club will never again invest in something unless the fans or floors-2-go or flybe.com are paying for it.

I guess you must have hit the wall hard when you got out of the wrong side of that bed this morning. Cheer up, the score board might show replays half time might be bearable with them!!!

I think it was getting downstairs at 6am and seeing...

AUS 286-3 :(

Maybe they could show Telebubbies to keep the Chav's quiet at half time - no if fact play Teletubbies for the whole match!

The screen will be able to show the game 'live'. Coventry's screen did and I am sure that viler's did last season as well. (I can't think who else has got one to mention live coverage!!)

Plus, it HAS to be between the Railway and Main Stand, if not it will be one very small 'big' screen!!!

Got the letter today, with the christmas card. It looks nice.

Takes the mic though, I live down the road and everyone else seems to get these letters and stuff before me. They could personally deliver mine if they wanted to

New stand? - in my 'sponsored by floors-2-go' dreams

I've heard that Floors-2-go pay the players they sponsor in carpet glue.

Apparently it avoids tacks.
